Bruin Spacecraft Group at UCLA Bruin Spacecraft Group has been founded with the intent of providing a creative and supportive environment for space mission design and development at UCLA.

Bruin Space has been founded with the intent of providing a creative and supportive environment for space mission design and development at UCLA. We strive to promote awareness and build enthusiasm for the aerospace industry through our space and spacecraft engineering related projects and events. Our teams comprise of students of all backgrounds, majors, and personalities: artists and physicists,

business men and women, scientists and engineers. We are not just building the next generation of space pioneers--we are making an impact here and now at UCLA, a stone's throw away from the beating heart of the aerospace industry in El Segundo. Four independent projects currently run under Bruin Space:

The Sandbox Initiative--a platform for students to assemble teams and take part in fast-paced open-competition opportunities. Project Overseer--a high altitude balloon platform for research and technical demonstrations. Project Reach--a small rocket payload designed for Rocket Project at UCLA's Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition rocket. Project Rapid--an initiative to secure and execute future CubeSat programs at UCLA following the completion of the ELFIN CubeSat. PER ASPERA AD ASTRA

The last internship recruiting cycle is just around the corner! Is your resume and profile able to stand out?

This Thursday, March 6th, 6-7:30 PM in Mathematical Sciences 5200 hear from some of our more senior members in BruinSpace about specific tips and strategies that have helped them land internships and stand out!

This session, we’re focusing on resumes 📜 , public profiles 👥 (LinkedIn, portfolio, personal website), and internship/career strategies 🔎 heading into the summer.

The last half of our workshop will have our senior members reviewing your resume and giving personalized advice!
