Blessed to have Spent some time up north in the Bay area as my amazing family came together this past week to honor the beautiful life of my Granny Granny girl! Ive been a tad radio silent processing and grieving in my own way, but thank you to all who have been there and have sent your incredible love to my entire family. Thank you for covering us!! Granny was such an incredible woman and her passing is just as significant in my life as her life's entirety. She's always going to be with me and I'm so blessed to have been a result and product of her beautiful matriarchal legacy. She'll be missed but my heart smiles knowing that she'll forever get to dance with papa in heaven now!!💖💖💖 Love you so much

Nov. 7th has for the last decade been a very pivotal date in my life! Released my 1st album which sold worldwide! Just wrapped filming a reality series for BET... launched a brand new podcast that is also a hit on serius XM affiliates... But one of the most pivotal moments in my life thus far was making the move and taking a huge leap of faith to the great City of Angels!! Nov. 7, 2013 began the ride of my life!!! Feliz 6 anos a mi!!! Yesterday was my L.A.nniversary!!! Yall and yes every year is absolutely an accomplishment that Im still standing tall, It will absolutely be celebrated every year. This year in particular was nothing short of trying and it grew ya girl something fierce!! And yet still I grow!!!🙌🏾👑💖 cheers to growth, cheers to life!! I cant believe it!!! 8 years ago was one of the best days of my life!!! SEP 30TH 2011
I graduated with My Master's Degree at the ripe young age of 23!! It was one of my greatest goals manifested! It certainly wasnt easy but Since then God has continued to Blow my mind!!! This easily makes the list of "the best decisions I've ever made". Accomplishing this goal gave me so much strength and needed confidence to continue forward with the other goals and plans God had set up for me. I proudly stand before you as a woman with 2 higher education degrees and $0 worth of student loans!! you cannot tell me God isn't good!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💖💖💖 today I look back as a reminder of where I've come from, and where I'm going.

I was made for Worship:::"You turned it for my Good!!".....its literally my testimony yall...... The last several months I've been pressed in several ways and have literally been feeling like im being completely stripped of something that I've grown accustom to thinking was the vehicle God placed within me to fullfill my earthly purpose.... ....my voice.....and as a singer feeling like you no longer have the ability to open your mouth and do something that you have actually been doing before even talking, is one of the scariest feelings in the world, ya know i literally can't just go buy another voice. So I'm not even sure what God's doing right now with this situation but I'm resting and trusting in the fact that I KNOW HE WORKS ALL THINGS OUT FOR MY GOOD. because boy oh boy I love Him. Thank you for the gift Lord and do with it what you will Father God i surrender it ALL to you.... my Voice heck, my LIFE its ALL YOURS!!!

This past weekend I got the beautiful opportunity to mesh several of my passions together (Kids and Songwriting)!!! Alongside one of my all time favorite artists and one of the hands down top vocalists of are era(debate me) JoJo 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💖💖💖😍😍😍 !!! As Part of the Creative Arts Camp in honor of Leah LaBelle and her amazing legacy, hosted by her family here in L.A.

We got to help kiddos around the area tap into their creative genius and write some music! What an honor to pass the torch and teach the babies about songwriting!! God keeps blowing my mind with what He's purposed me for. I couldn't be more grateful and thankful He sees me fit!! And clearly has equipped me.

July 19th 2018!!! A year ago today my life forever changed in the most amazing way!!!. The world got a taste of what the people around me have known as they watch The Grand Hustle on with .... And I'm blessed and honored to represent something so special.
So many times on reality TV black women are portrayed in the most God-awful way... so much so that I was beyond nervous going to do the show. I didn't know what they would try to make me out to be, because boy oh boy editing is a beast and yes they can make you out to be whoever they want you to be!! But I am so blessed to have been able to show the authentic light, love and grace that's been placed in me and represent God on such a huge and amazing platform!! (Heck its international we are still airing in Africa and Europe)
And shoutout to my castmates we were really a part of something truly amazing and I'm blessed to have a whole new forever family in yall! You guys know how much I love you!!😘
But people literally have come up to me and thank me for being a positive and healthy representation of a strong, Godly, educated and classy black woman in the public eye, and how that's a rare thing to see. Im forever thankful and continue to Hustle forward with awesome endeavors God has set up for me!!! And with God paving the way baby they have no idea what's in store.... Don't worry the world will know soon enough😘. Stay Tuned!! Thank yall for the continued love and support!!!
