In this hot weather I tend to wash my hair more often, and end up with frizzy dry hair. Beauty tip: Moisture retention
Winter months in So Cal are lovely; sunny but much cooler, AND the sky is actually blue! This also means the air is much drier and our skin is easily dehydrated and irritated. Beauty tip: Smokey eyes
Smoldering, sexy or raccoon? For this coveted look, I use Motives Eye Base to prep the eyes and use medium gray as base color, then add colors to build and intensify (smoky brown, burgundy, blue, etc.). I then line both top and bottom lids with eye pencil (black is NOT the only option) and smudge...lighter around the inner corners and gradually darker at the outer corners. Add powder eye shadow to set. Highlight brow bones. LASHES!

Skincare tip #11: Acne clear up
Not sure which acne products to buy/use? Try some easier and more natural ways to help clear up the skin: 1. Fresh lemon juice...vitamin C helps pimples dry up quicker; 2. Tea tree oil...antibacterial properties help clear up the infected area; 3. Garlic...disinfect, disinfect, disinfect; 4. Steam...of course! It opens up the pores and allows the skin to breathe.
