As a leader and people manager for almost 25 years, I've had my share of executing progressive discipline. Most recipients don't take kindly to the action which is constructive and intended to effect needed change in an effort to aid employee retention. As a self reflective leader I think about if I were on the receiving end and the balance of emotions. I come away with these sentiments. I'd rather be written up than written off. All about perspective taking.

Check the connection! I have seen this time and time again with couples primarily but the premise is true with friends as well. Sometimes the primary issue is your connection. If you could detach and unplug, you'd see change.

I've commonly assigned clients who experience anxiety, stress, grief, and sleep challenges to sound bath. I had the opportunity to experience an in-person sound healing session yesterday.

Grace was given to us. It was poured out for us and upon us. For our lives, our decisions, our situations. That same grace, in its overflow, impacts the lives of those connected to us. With this measure of grace comes to mind other areas that we as representatives of Christ (a higher power, a supreme being, light, or just ourselves) should also consider in our interactions and engagement with others.
