made this low media bench from some old growth 4”x12” Doug Fir. The beam was put in the building in the late 60’s. Guess it was at least 20 years older than that by the time it was used in our building. I really love repurposing materials and giving them a new life/ purpose.

two kiosks that were adding on to existing well made and designed desks for a luxury rental space in downtown LA. Both are a combo of 1/4” waxed hot rolled steel plate and walnut & rift white oak wood veneers. Installing right before the holidays.

here’s a quick little refresh for these original 1957ish mid-century poolside tables. They were headed for the bin before this. Originally they were the green color along with the building. Somewhere along the way someone made the decision to paint this beautiful William Krisel property taupe. say nope to taupe!

N. O. S. discontinued tool day. The last one of these DeWalt dw621 routers I had for about 19+ years and then it went missing. This has been my favorite plunge router I’ve ever owned. Found sellers last one on eBay. DeWalt should really bring these back.

The Geode is finally in its forever home. It had a long journey of finish grinding, polishing and install after it left us. It turned out beautiful along with all the other custom made components in the jean dousset store. We were happy to have our small part in it. It takes a village!
