It is in amazing, collectors-grade condition, very clean and really looks to be in unused condition. Obviously never on a board or gigged with. Acquired it out of a private collection. This was upgraded by the wah-pedal master, Geoffrey Teese, back in 2026 with a new RMC pot, original wiring, jac...

1962 Gibson SGLP Custom husk
Once this guitar was the king. A 1962 Ebony Block SGLP Custom HUSK, repaired and correctly refinished. It was sold for a princely sum when all original, but arrived with a headstock break, so it was returned. So off it goes to Greg Platzer Guitars. An amazing restoration that includes a refin to the body and headstock break repair.. I asked for the serial number to be left open to see so this guitar wouldn't get passed off as an original finish down the road. It's a featherweight, weighing in at 4.98 pounds. Now here's your chance to get a 1962 restored body husk. Got PAF's at home in a drawer with pots and all? You're on your way. I currently have all the parts stored safely. Eventually the case, tuners, pickguard, ebony block will be available for sale too. It comes as a restored, repaired and refinished HUSK. NO PARTS INCLUDED. The last 3 pics are of the guitar BEFORE it was repaired. This guitar is also being shown locally for sale. You can be a player and of course, make an offer, I'm immune to idiotic stuff. Shipping on your dime, Venmo, Paypal (F&F), Zelle, CA$H...

Heres another song that I come back to yearly just to keep my chops up. Single lines used as a rhythm phrase, that are pure golden, and horn lines and piano lines, all can be comped on guitar and have the same voicing. I also do this with Badge, the comping behind the vocal is just soooo good!!!
Leslie guitar lines, superb...Clapton was at this time, miles above the rest. Beck was catching up, as was Green, and we all know how Hendrix, shocked the hell out of him...
