Jack Sonni passed away. Jack was a mentor of mine that I met working at Guitar Center in 1996. Jack always had fun while getting the job done. Nothing was beneath him. He gave his time, attention and generosity freely. We reconnected through grief in 2019 after one of his twin daughters was killed in a car wreck and my dad had just passed. We texted a fair amount about the grief process. He always signed off “be good, hug them while you can.”

I’ll miss you Jack. I’m sorry we never got the chance to jam again on the stage, in the kitchen or behind the bar. .
