Notre Dame Women Connect in Los Angeles Mission:
To connect Notre Dame Women by fostering personal and professional relationships and by giving back to our community. Not really.

It was on a dreary night that the Los Angeles Chapter of ND Women Connect was born. Our chapter began in 2010 on a balmy June evening when five of us met on the eighth floor of the Gas Company Tower in downtown LA. Yes, we started very corporate-like, but actually, we’re a casual group-- minimally organized, allergic to management, governed by the ocean breeze-- and so, of course, three of us are

co-leaders. General Information
The premise of this group is that ND women face common challenges in work/life integration, have a special bond based on shared values and backgrounds, can help each other reach their full potential, and have fun together! Women have different ways of connecting-- the lines between professional and personal conversations easily blur-- and the different parts of our lives tend to be integrated rather than compartmentalized. We want our alumnae events and programs to reflect and address this type of connection.

As an alum, '19, '21 and '23 ND mom and Manager of the CA Regional Program for the Center for Career Development, I'm proud of how well our students have done in the career search. Our ND '21 grads have done incredibly well despite the pandemic; however, some of our graduates are still seeking jobs.
