Notre Dame Women Connect in Los Angeles Mission:
To connect Notre Dame Women by fostering personal and professional relationships and by giving back to our community. Not really.

It was on a dreary night that the Los Angeles Chapter of ND Women Connect was born. Our chapter began in 2010 on a balmy June evening when five of us met on the eighth floor of the Gas Company Tower in downtown LA. Yes, we started very corporate-like, but actually, we’re a casual group-- minimally organized, allergic to management, governed by the ocean breeze-- and so, of course, three of us are co-leaders. The premise of this group is that ND women face common challenges in work/life integration, have a special bond based on shared values and backgrounds, can help each other reach their full potential, and have fun together! Women have different ways of connecting-- the lines between professional and personal conversations easily blur-- and the different parts of our lives tend to be integrated rather than compartmentalized. We want our alumnae events and programs to reflect and address this type of connection.
