(I'm breaking my own rule since i've been banned from Die Hards and LGK for speaking out on this, Trasi and Zampelli are paid by the Kings, so it's not shocking)
Our Tickets! Our Choice! We want control back over our season tickets!
For everyone else sick and tired of the Kings restricting our ability to sell tickets, SIGN THIS PETITION AND MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD!
What they're doing is illegal. They are just assuming we can't band together and fight it with our voices or a lawyer.
Anyone who is familiar with First Sale Doctrine knows they are in violation.
To say nothing of the antitrust implications in AEG owning the team, arena, neighboring properties, and now forcing their own ticketing platform down our throats BY BLOCKING US FROM SELLING OUR TICKETS WHICH ARE OUR PROPERTY.
It's not just us either.
We all are adults and understand in 2018 the sports business puts the emphasis on business. This isn't Brucey McNally (ironically he got locked up in solitary for six months for dicking over financial institutions, yet Wells Fargo fu**ed over half the country and got a fine equal to the change in their couch cushions. 🙄) owning a team because he cares and wants to have fun and put out a good product and shmooze and enjoy life.
This is a megacorporation who has been eroding ALL our benefits as season ticket holders over the past decade and jacked our prices to 2x - 3x or more compared to what some Joe Shmoe can buy them for off us.
They may very well be in breach of contract as well as they changed the terms and made their new deal and severed the old one with stub hub AFTER we gave them out renewal deposit.
Limiting our ability to sell our season tickets as we please, even disabling the ability to list physical tickets (that someone paid $100 Xtra for) via barcodes, in order to force us to use their app (which I greatly prefer to stubhub, as AXS has reasonable fees), is fu**ed up and some communist s**t.
And I still could have dealt with the limitations and all that and not become Hulkishly upset.
BUT...
The Kings and AEG gave ZERO heads up to us about the policy change before we paid them and the season started.
AND THE BIGGEST ISSUE...
They spent less money on marketing AXS and making sure consumers knew it even existed or educating us on it than I spend at the vet in a given month for my dog.
This just shows how little they care about us.
We need to tell the Kings, "Our Tickets, Our Choice." They do not get to dictate what we do with our tickets!
