Pride Month always makes me reflect on how fortunate I’ve been.

As a gay man, I’ve been able to build a life, career, relationships, and businesses without hiding who I am. That hasn’t been everyone’s experience, and for many around the world, it still isn’t.

Pride is a celebration, but also a reminder that equality, safety, and acceptance can’t be taken for granted. Many people still face discrimination, exclusion, and fear simply for being themselves.

I believe our yoga studios and wellness communities have an important role to play—not just by saying everyone is welcome, but by creating spaces where people truly feel they belong, are respected, and can show up as they are.

This month, I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and mindful of those still fighting for the freedoms many of us enjoy every day.
