We've been comparing ourselves to people since the dawn of time

That has only amplified now that billions of people use social media

When you catch yourself comparing yourself to others, You have two options...🤔

1️⃣ Fall into a swirling pit of self-pity and frustration and jealousy and let that take over your mind state and drain you of energy

2️⃣or use the thoughts to fuel your own self-growth and awareness...

What do you think would be more helpful?

📝Try this exercise You can do this in your head right now or you can grab a journal or piece of paper

Think about what quality you are comparing yourself to them on... write it down.

Is it their SELF LOVE for themselves and comfort they have in their own skin?

Is it a particular SKILL that they are better at than you?

You might be thinking "No Christina, I'm comparing myself to them because they are more famous or have more Instagram followers or more money or a better home than I do..."

If it's the above, then that would mean that they would need to have qualities such as dedication, commitment, persistence, and a strong belief in themselves and their vision (because all of those are required. If you're going to have any level of fame or financial success)

📝Write down ONE quality that you could embody TODAY and HOW/What activity you will do to do so and the reframing of the THOUGHT behind the activity

Ex.
Quality: "They are organized"
Activity: "folding clothes that have been sitting out"
Thought process: "I've been putting off folding my clothes because I see it's a CHORE but instead I will REFRAME that activity as a GIFT OF SELF LOVE to cultivate my desire to be organized and align with the values I want to hold for myself"
