The Now Pursuit is a ministry with a mission to encourage and equip Christians into a deeper intimacy with Christ. We function as a ministry through living in discipleship, rediscovering joy through workshops and creating practical resources to remain available for aid to your daily battles.

What a year's end...😌☕️

This, by far, is my favorite picture this year. It encompasses the journey we've trekked together in 2023. A closeness we've discovered as we also embraced a new space of learning who we are individually. This year is marked with what it's like to let go SO THAT we can let God... and He showed up. He sure did.

He answered our prayers for a house, another car, a community that lives like family...to name the few more tangible answers..
.and for the less visible, yet oh so powerful ways God showed up...all I can say right now is that I entered year 2023 with clenched fists, as I held on to what I thought was going to be, to now be at a place with open hands, for the Lord knew better. He revealed Himself to us in such a new way, I needed to stop the "much" I was trying to do to be more present with His presence...and for that, I'm so very grateful. It's an adventure that continues past tonight as midnight comes...

So, more in 2024 :)

I pray that with all the ups and downs this year may have brought for you, may Christ be enough. May you seek Him and find Him. In the big things, little things, details in between. May you know that your insecurities can stay on the altar and be replaced with a security in Him. I pray that as we transition into a new year together, may there be joy so deep that even with the chaos all around, we can be ok. We can love one another and ourselves, intercede on our neighbors behalf, and be still even when we're tempted to keep moving. May we continue to taste and see that the Lord is good, and may we celebrate the beautiful gift of each day. Amen❤️

I've been asked alot this year about our RV journey...

It's been questions like, "How did you decide to live in a rv?" to questions like "How did you know God was leading you as you traveled? What was it like?"

Many don't know the whole story, and it feels like it'll be our lifetime sharing bits here and there🫣 Many don't know that Angelo and I were actually living with my parents 2019 and 2020 to save for a down-payment for a house in SoCal.

Living in a RV wasn't even on our radar😶 We were not the family wishing we'd ever do that. It wasn't a bucket list item or even a thought.

Until June 2020, a spontaneous thought came as we were still trying to plan to be in a house. The thought said, "What about a RV?"

Like a movie, right on cue, I turned my head to the side and said to myself, "A RV?"

All day that day Angelo and I Google'd and YouTube'd families living in a RV. We were like, what??! It's a thing!?!

And the rest is history..lol...just kidding..there's more to the story then that. But that was the starting point. We ended up moving into our first RV and living in it fulltime Jan 2nd 2021, then lived and loved it for 2 years after that.

👉God speaks to us in many different ways. It could even be just like that: a spontaneous idea that came out of nowhere.

Christ is really good at His part❤️ Ordering our steps, weaving in everything for our good, showing up faithful. But many of us forget our part. Saying yes even when it feels uncomfortable, stepping out in faith even if you don't have all the answers, looking to Him for direction in all things. Pure relationship where two have a part and purpose.

⭐️Let's be the ones who do our part; this way we can experience the Lord as He does His. Cause He is present with you, He will shake up your life for the good and lead you on adventures bigger and better than your most important dreams.

And there'll be the day you'll say, I'm so glad I followed His lead.

Summer so far...🌞

Lots of activities happening over here, i cant keep up! Are we the only one? Some of you responded to my question about lots of activities happening for you too, so maybe you're in that same water😘

What a joy it is, right?! I prayed last year for deeper relationships, and God answered this summer!

Ya'll, if you've got a yearning on your heart and you have yet to give it to the Lord, I encourage you to start now.

We like to pray about everything! You can pray specifics. God hears you😆 His timing is perfect & answer is Best

I can share lots of stories of prayer and answers. The pictures I shared in these slides are parts of that. (When you join my Mentorship, we will most def create space for shares of that kind! Click the link in bio to get on my email list to get more info)

Each picture has a story, and layers of the story in that.

You see, we get to be reminded that we all carry a story. And it's so important to share it. It doesn't always look like doing that online. It's a privilege and gift to be able to, but even more so, I want to encourage you to be intentional in sharing your story with those around you in person. Likewise, asking others about theirs.

Your testimony is powerful. Your journey til now is inspiring. You are the most important piece of your story, and when you share, it will encourage someone else in theirs (and vice versa).

I'm not one to schedule posts here because I love to try and tune to Holy Spirit and ask Him what I'm suppose to share. And it's been this incredible yearning in my Spirit to be very present in my experience outside of here as He's been drawing me into deeper relationships: hearing and sharing stories.

In that, I've experienced this type of fullness of Christ in His body! Something I've never experienced before outside of tending to the secret space with Jesus myself.

We all carry a facet of who God is, so when we show up, a part of Him is present in the room. We carry something He didn't give anyone else.

Let that spark a fire of courage in you to show up to where God has you. You are the ONLY YOU there ever is, was and will be. And you get to own who God's made you to be❤️

Just had to make a mini vlog reel for a keepsake. It's a bit of a mission to get to our RV and when we do, it's always this nostalgic walk down memory lane as a family. We know that it's probably just us feeling this way, but how incredible it is to be able to share the many seasons God brings us through and have others like you journey with us along the way.

Still don't know what's to come with our RV or our current living situation, but what I do know is, we're gonna have a bomb.com summer! Camping stuff + beach day supplies = summer here we come 😆

Hey friends!

Right now, our family is believing for a house again. We are standing in faith that God will provide a supernatural pathway that leads to His promise of provision in this area. Whatever His best is for our family, and however it may look, for it to be aligned with His will and purpose for our lives.

So bring it ALL to Him. I've prayed for things like a place to live with specific number of rooms and an open concept. He provided. Or for my marriage to be restored. He made way. Or for a certain amount of money for a new bill. He supplied. Even for another car so we wouldn't have to take the bus. He answered.

There is nothing too big or too small..down to the specifics and details. His timing is perfect and His answer is better than your expectation.

Even in moments you may not understand. Even in moments you feel like you've been waiting forever. Even in moments that get really hard.

The day will come where you'll be like, "Oh! That's why. I get it now. Wow, Lord. You're so👏good👏."

It's often easy to focus on the issue we're experiencing or facing throughout each day; whether it's a very practical problem or an emotional tug that is draining us or wearing us down.

But when you are in Christ, all you need to do is focus on Him. Practically, that looks like thinking about things of heaven instead of the things of the earth. Seeking God first and trusting He will supply what you need for each situation.

I like to call these heavenly opposites.

Whatever you are facing today that doesn't feel so good, just know that God is good, and He's got what you need. You just need to look to Him to discover it😊

Hey you, as your scrolling through your feed🤗

As we are still slowly finding our way back online, I figured I'd introduce/reintroduce who we are, as many things have changed, yet remain🫣

We are Angelo, Genesis and our 4 kiddos, but I, Genesis, am the main person who shows up here in this space to represent😝

It's been a 2 year journey of traveling fulltime in our fifth wheel RV, where we thought it was a setup to create within us the ability to share all things travel, but God had other plans.

We felt the call to come back to our home state in Cali, and are discovering as we've been here that it's a season to be stationed. Not at all what we expected! Nor what we desired at first... but the Lord has shifted our hearts, confirmed many times over that we're supposed to be here and opened door after door for things we've only experienced in prayer.

So our RV is in storage right now as we are:
- praying for a place we can call home here in SoCal
- starting to serve and join the community at .church 🙌
- working alongside family at the barbershop & antique store
+ discovering more layers of what He's doing and desiring for us in ministry.

So, in this space together, we are experiencing a shift to share more content geared toward our exhortation ministry. But you can journey with me on my other page to see more of our daily life too!🤗

What a beautiful adventure. You never know what each leap of faith may bring. But may I assure you that God is faithful to do His part, and is delighted when we/you do ours/yours!

We can not see ourselves never traveling again (no way!), but there's a time for everything under the sun. So we are learning to be content with all the newness that's in our current season.

May you continue to journey with us as we share + discover more as we go🤗
