Can’t believe it’s been 27 years, March 1st begins the registration process for Spring and Summer lessons. If you can’t swim or know someone that needs to learn, fill out the form at Swimtome.com beginning tomorrow and we will send you the schedule of available classes. Cooper Beach is officially open for the season.

I am calling on my swimmers between the ages of 16 - 24 who may be interested in becoming Lifeguards.
The County of Los Angeles is launching a free Lifeguard Ready Training Program (LRT). You will be trained by the Fire Department and hired as Lifeguards.

This could be a great opportunity to put your swimming skills to work for you as well as a path into a career with the County.

Spring and Summer 2021 are just around the corner. We have all been struggling to manage the past year and continue to as we move into this year. We did have a handful of classes last year and looks like this year may offer more opportunities to teach as well. Like last summer we will adhere to protocols that keep us all safe and allow for some normalcy. Although weekend classes are no longer available, we will have several weekday options. The class size will be eight and only one family member may accompany the student. We implemented this policy last year and it worked quite well. As usual registration begins March 1st. One more thing, my lessons are not limited to children, it’s never too late and last year I taught more adults than ever.

We hope you are all doing what you need to in order to keep your loved ones safe and healthy. These are certainly trying times and we are feeling the affects as well. Our season has been put on hold and as soon as we can safely resume our classes we will. Stay in touch and we will let you know when classes are open. Take care and be safe.
