As I get ready for my third wedding this year, so far 😁, I can't help but think about the roller coaster I've been on this year. I've been feeling so down and low about my photography, and as if I haven't been loving it as much as I have in the past. I've been trying to shake the feeling--losing contentment--but it's been hard. Fortunately, I'm coming out of it. I prayed a lot and remembered why I do what I do, and why I love what I do. And if I remember who I am, and strive to maintain it, I'll be happy. With that being said, I'm excited for tomorrow's wedding. My next wedding is fast approaching. The strange thing about what I do, is the nervousness I feel every time I'm approaching a wedding day. Its so big, and so different from engagement photos. You don't get to say, "Wait, lets try that again!" Everything is in the moment, you get no do-overs.

So what helps me get through it? The answer is simple, prayer. I pray before every photo shoot. This day is huge, and people pay me to give them memories for their big day. I offer a service that I must deliver on: my yes must mean yes. I appeal to Jehovah's sense of love and justice, and He gets me through it, every time! After all, Jehovah has the greatest "photographers eye" of all 😁.

Why You Should Book Your Photographer Sooner Rather Than Later.

The rush is on! From the moment you say yes, you are suddenly thrown into the world of wedding planning, with all its twists and turns. However, before you put finding a wedding photographer on the back burner, it would be wise to consider booking your wedding photographer as soon as possible. Why? Well, the simple answer is that wedding slots go fast. The normal wedding photographer can have up to 2 weddings planned every single weekend! Yes, that's right, every weekend! You may find yourself too busy to book it, but also, too late. When you book your photographer, your wedding date is added to their calendar, you become their top priority. While it may seem that other things are more important, like booking the reception, buying the dress, and decorating, it would be an awful shame if, in the end, you had no photos to remember your special day. The scary truth is that most brides and grooms don't even remember their weddings because of how fast-paced everything goes. Many brides and grooms later stated how valuable it was to have a photographer, because they simply forgot the special moments they had on their special day. So don't delay booking your photographer! That way you ensure you always remember that special day! 😉
