The 3 Key Elements of Executive Presence

Have you ever seen a person with the "It" factor but you couldn't quite describe it? Curious about an often unspoken gem that sets great leaders apart, but you couldn't put your finger on the one thing that set them apart? That one thing is executive presence. Executive presence delivers trust, confidence, inspiration and influence often without saying a word, and It doesn't magically happen by putting on the right power suit.



Here are three key elements that anyone can master:

1️⃣ Confidence – Speaking and acting with assurance, even in high-pressure situations, builds trust and credibility.

2️⃣ Communication – Clarity, poise, and persuasion matter. Great leaders deliver their message effectively and listen actively.

3️⃣ Authenticity – The best leaders are real, transparent, and aligned with their values. People follow those they trust.

This is purposeful living ✨

Senegalese soccer star, Sadio Mane, makes around $10.2 million a year. Fans were in disbelief when they saw him holding an iPhone 11 with a cracked screen. His reply was incredible: “Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches and two jet planes? What would that do for the world? I starved, I worked in the fields, I played barefoot, and I didn’t go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools [and] a stadium; we provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me”.

Brick by brick. Day by day.

This is my preferred posture. My go-to. I can see and understand better from this place. My decisions are solid when I’m in this stance.

Let’s start here this week. Be careful though. It will absolutely disturb people around you. People feel better about themselves and their negative actions when you are reacting negatively. They feel justified. Don’t do it. Practice standing in a polished, clearheaded and poised foundation regardless of what is thrown at you this week. Maintain your posture. Do not be moved. You’re building a life. Not a show. ✨
