Yikes so I already posted this on Facebook and I was absolutely TERRIFIED to do it. However, the response has been so overwhelmingly positive that I decided to post it on here 😂 I am not proud of who I’ve been in the past but I’m proud of where I’m going and who I’m becoming! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me this year and honestly helped me CHANGE! I’m so thankful 🥺❤️

Transformation

Wow this post is going to be very difficult to share but I feel inspired to be more vulnerable. 2020 has been life changing for me.

The photo on the left was taken on a cruise to Mexico December 2018. It was shortly after my grandfather passed away. I had completely turned my back on God and distanced myself from everything and everyone that I knew up to that point. My life was in shambles and everything was falling apart. I was in the midst of a full on crisis after losing my faith, identity, community, and culture. It resulted in: addiction, depression, anxiety, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, and reckless behavior.

2 years later, I have taken huge steps to turn my life around and it has been nothing short of a miracle. I am thriving. I still have a lot to improve on, but I’m finally getting “me” back. God has been so good to me and has provided for me every step of the way. I am surrounded by a community of people who love me for me. I am able to express myself creatively. I have everything I need to live my best life and be my most authentic self. I have so much hope and excitement for my future!

To everyone who has been with me on this transformative journey and has supported me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know I’ve been difficult to love at times. Nothing has gone unnoticed and I am so grateful for the opportunity to change. This Christmas, I am extra grateful to be celebrating the birth of the Savior. ❤️

To anyone who is experiencing any form of mental health issues, you are not alone. Your story is not over. If I could preach one thing, it is CONNECTION. Connection is the antidote of misery. Connect to God, to others, and most importantly yourself! You’ve got this! Love and light ✨

There’s something so dreamy about LA. The picturesque sunsets literally every night. The perfect weather. The beach. The mountains. The food is amazing. There’s an abundance of culture and variety.…
