Man walks into café and randomly stabs diner in shocking daylight attack.
A violent incident took place on April 21, 2026, in Bolton, where a man walked into a café
and stabbed a customer sitting at a table.
CCTV footage shows the attacker entering The Deli café around 10:30 AM, approaching a
man who was eating, and stabbing him in the chest without warning.
The victim quickly fought back, punching the attacker and trying to restrain him, while café
staff stepped in and managed to disarm the suspect.
Police confirmed that two people were stabbed in total, with a second incident happening
shortly before on nearby Tonge Moor Road.
Both victims suffered non life-threatening
injuries.
A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene, and authorities said the attack appears to be
random and isolated, with no wider threat to the public.
The footage has since gone viral online due to the sudden and unprovoked nature of the
attack.
