🔈 Check out this super important update from major DSP, Apple, that could be potentially game changing
for artists and/or copyright holders.  🎶 Effective end of January 2024, Artists who are on Apple Music will supposedly earn an additional bonus monthly payout of up to 10 percent in royalties for all songs that are available in spatial audio or Dolby Atmos.   ℹ️ Limited information is provided but this could encourage more mixes in Atmos, drive more revenue to Atmos certified studios and have a trickle effect on increasing product or experiences that can support Dolby Atoms and spacial audio playback such as Sony’s 360 Spatial Audio.   Check it out!

✈️ Are you heading to NAMM next week?   Here are my favorite tips from the last few years that made my trip and business grow IMMENSELY. 💰

☝🏽First, create a digital business card with which allows you to share socials, contact info, your website and allows you also see any contact info you received in a database. It’s great for follow ups!  2️⃣Second, use the NAMM schedule to star ⭐️ anything you HAVE to see during the who conference. It’s a BIG conference so it will take time to walk from building to building. And it’s packed!  3️⃣Third, network as much as possible with the vendors and people around the vendors. Parties and networking events are key and are mainly after 5pm!

4️⃣Fourth, show off your skills or be ready to pitch yourself to these brands if you are looking to collaborate, get endorsements or do any brand deals for these brands next year.   PS - we won’t be attending this year unfortunatelybut see you next year!!

🎧 We had the privilege of being in the listening session with .raycharles estate in Atlanta in 2021. The tracks were pure, raw and itching to be released.

💰 Marketing your music is more than putting out new tracks, but building a solid catalog, utilizing old tracks, re-releasing, collaborating and most importantly creating new revenue streams and utilizing your brand to build in new spaces.
