Parallel-Play Parallel-Play is an L.A. based design studio founded in 2009 by Jay Doronio and Shannon Losorelli-Doronio.

Parallel play is a stage of social development where children play adjacent to each other. Though they play alone, they are interested in what the other is doing, occasionally observing and modifying their play accordingly. Parallel-Play is a Los Angeles based design studio run by husband and wife team Jay Doronio and Shannon Losorelli-Doronio. We are dedicated to providing creative design solutions and project management services for adventurous do-gooders like 826LA, our client list features non-profit organizations like Machine Project, fine art institutions like the L.A. Louver Gallery, forward thinking community builders such as Bike Long Beach and Echo Park Art Walk, as well as entrepreneurs, individuals, and companies who enjoy making great things together.
