Maroon Society is completing a health study about Native American and Alaskan Natives in the Los Angeles area. The study includes people who are living with HIV as well as those who are HIV negative. Qualified participants enrolled will receive $200 for completing a survey and interview (virtual or in-person).

Maroon Society just drafted a Research Brief for the Southern California Association of Governments (S**G). S**G is the largest regional planning agency in the United States, responsible for approximately half of all California residents. In order to plan for the rapidly aging population in the S**G planning area, we need to create communities that are more walkable. This includes providing safe streets, green spaces, and buildings that promote walkability and support community engagement. Stay active and encourage aging adults to walk 30 minutes each day. Studies show that regular walking helps maintain healthy brain functions and mitigate cognitive decline.
