To five of our favorite Australian artists who played our BIGSOUND showcase - ๐•ธ๐–Ž๐–‘๐–‘๐–ž ๐•พ๐–™๐–—๐–†๐–“๐–Œ๐–Š Local the Neighbour stimpies Any Young Mechanic kate moth - an enormous thank you, it was a hell of a time. We are absolutely delighted to announce the winner of Up + Monster Children โ€˜s artist support initiative Upstarters and the winner of the grand prize of $20,000 dollars: Local the Neighbour .

Ella jumped a steel bird from Sydney to Brisbane, ostensibly for BIGSOUND , though the reasons one goes anywhere are never quite so simple. What she found there: the bars worth drinking in, the food worth ordering twice, and most importantly the bands worth the walk. She is telling you plainly.
