🎃 Halloween is 67 days away, and October 1st is only 37 days away!
So if you’ve been thinking about hosting a Shed the Dead Chemical Peel Event, now is the time to start planning. Do not wait until October to begin promoting it!
Here’s exactly how I did mine:
STEP 1: CREATE YOUR OFFER
Decide what your clients will receive and make it exciting—but make sure the numbers still make sense for your business.
For my Shed the Dead event, I offered:
✨ A $250 chemical peel for $100
✨ 25% off retail
✨ A cute charcuterie board and Halloween experience
✨ Only 20 prepaid spots
The goal was not just to fill one day. I wanted to introduce clients to chemical peels, educate them on why peels work best in a series, and encourage them to come back and complete their treatment plan.
And most of them did!
STEP 2: CREATE YOUR MARKETING PLAN
Please do not make one post and expect your event to sell out. Your clients need to see the offer multiple times, but they also need to understand why they need it.
Market your event through:
— Instagram Reels, Stories and feed posts
— Email and text marketing
— Personal invitations to current clients
— Before-and-after results
— Educational content about chemical peels
— Updates showing how many spots are left
— A simple Wix landing page where clients can learn, pay and reserve their spot
YOUR SHED THE DEAD TIMELINE:
📅 August 25–September 1:
Choose your peel, price, event date, number of appointments and overall experience.
📅 September 2–7:

📅 September 8–14:

📅 October 1–Event Day:
Increase the urgency! Share available spots, testimonials, behind-the-scenes preparation and countdowns. During the final week, promote it every single day.
Start educating your audience now so that when you officially launch the offer, they already understand the value and are r
