Today my heart shattered. After 16 beautiful, unforgettable years, I had to say goodbye to my loyal companion, my constant, my family. Max fought bravely, but cancer took him from me. Nothing truly prepares you for this kind of loss, no matter how much time you’re given.

For 16 years, he loved without conditions, stayed by my side through every season of life, and filled my days with warmth, comfort, and joy. He wasn’t “just a dog” he was my friend, my protector, my peace, and my home. The silence he leaves behind is heavy, and the pain feels deeper than words can hold.

I believe his soul is now at peace, free from pain, running where there is no sickness and no suffering. Still, my heart aches for one more moment, one more touch, one more look into those loving eyes.

I’m asking anyone who sees this and believes in prayer to please say a prayer for my sweet boy and for my healing heart. If you can, leave a prayer or kind words in the comments I would be deeply grateful. 🤍🙏

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, asking for Your mercy and healing hand over my beloved dog. You are the giver of life, and nothing is too hard for You. Please touch him with Your healing power, ease his pain, and restore his strength in Your will. Amen
