It is the type of cooperative and intuitive work ethic that stems from countless late nights sharing their hearts and ideas, dreams and visions, inspirations and motivations. A friendship that was no doubt destined by fate to bring together two very different personalities to exist as one powerful force in the fashion industry. Both midwestern transplants to Los Angeles, the stylists who make up Cat Noir, Amanda Day (Lexington, KY) and Mickey Gregory (Chicago, IL) believe that fashion and styling is a trade that can be learned, but not necessarily taught. While both have received formal education in both the art and fashion worlds, it has been through a series of wild and glamorous Hollywood adventures, fierce, and bold risk taking that these two have come to earn their knowledge of style. It is our philosophy that in order to understand style, one is required to develop criticism of what is current and popular versus classic and timeless. We believe that impeccable style comes from trial and error, taking what sticks, and being open to new possibilities. The pair stays current through attendance of runway shows, and red carpet events, providing insight and analysis into their creative thought processes through blogging and social media. They are the mediums between the realms of designers, models, and buyers. Cat Noir Styling provides expert wardrobe and costuming for film and print, online productions, and live events.
