Growth doesn’t always come with noise — sometimes, it’s found in quiet moments.
Coffee gives me clarity in solitude.
Whiskey offers courage in silence.
I no longer crave loud crowds, nor feel the need to prove anything to the world.
The further I go, the more I understand:
Elegance is knowing when not to speak.
Wisdom is choosing what not to chase.
Peace is the ability to sit still.

For a long time, I thought the hardest part was saying goodbye.
But I’ve come to realize —
the hardest part is learning how to keep going.
She left, and with her, she took a part of me.
The part that lit up when she smiled.
The warmth of knowing someone was waiting at home.
The steady light that guided me through storms.
But she left so much behind too.
Her words still echo when I’m lost.
Her kindness lives on in our child’s eyes.
And the strength she carried — it lingers in me now.
I don’t know where “starting over” begins,
but I do know this:
I’m not moving on to forget her.
I’m moving forward because she deserves to be carried with me.
The mountains remain.
The wind still blows.
And the sun still finds its way in.
I’m learning to walk on,
Not alone —
But with every memory of her folded quietly in my chest.

This afternoon felt like a dream I didn’t plan — just a small wine shop, a few strangers who quickly felt familiar, and glasses that never stayed empty for long.
We didn’t rush. We listened. We laughed. And as the wine flowed, so did our stories — in broken French, quiet smiles, and wide-eyed curiosity.

Hundreds of tastings.
Thousands of glasses.
Countless train rides, flights, and late-night conversations with distributors across the country.

For years, hosting wine events was more than just pouring—it was about connection, laughter, and watching people fall in love with the stories behind each bottle.

But these past three years?
One word. Sigh.
The rhythm has changed. The gatherings paused. The energy... quieter.

Still, the love for the craft remains. And maybe, just maybe—it’s time to bring the glasses back together.
