College admissions notification week was this past week. Lots of excitement around here - and lots of big decisions to make.

I’ve been overwhelmed with feeling it all.

College. How are we here already?

I’m so excited for this next stage of her life to begin.

But I’m suddenly obsessed with looking at every photo I’ve ever taken at her through the years. Every messy hair, muddy faced, joyfully contagious moment. Because those are the moments that tell the story of this life we live - this beautiful messy hard wonderful life.

Always thrilled to showcase a new wedding on . did a magnificent job creating this luxurious multi day event at Ojai Valley Inn. . I love the contrast between the bright colors for the welcome dinner and the muted pinks and soft ivories for the wedding. And I’m always obsessed with cozy seating areas in the ballroom!

In the never ending quest that is building my new wedding website, I come across images like this one from years back.

I am instantly transported back to that gorgeous evening in the exquisite tent under the stars courtesy of .

i’ve shot literally hundreds of weddings since then, but I still vividly remember how magical this open air tent was, which is such a testament to the artistry, vision and ex*****on that comes from working with a really fabulous wedding planner.

And I am always so grateful when I have so much pretty to photograph!
