On behalf of the entire team at KLBM and CLTMGMT, we are devastated by the news of the recent passing of our dear friend Dave Shapiro and everyone involved in this tragic accident. Dave offered a friendship that cannot be replaced, and that was a relationship that we nurtured for over 20 years. Almost nothing we do in this business exists without Dave, and we are so lucky to have shared so much together. He will be missed beyond words. Everything we do is more fun with friends, and Dave’s spirit will live through that in everything we do.

While we’re on the topic of it becoming more and more challenging for artists to earn fairly from their craft, we are constantly revisiting how to keep costs in line. For my female artists, it’s goes beyond day to day and touring for their male counterparts in many cases. Keeping up their actual appearances is becoming one of the most staggering costs I see. Thanks for shining a light on this topic. Great chat! 💄💋💅🏼
