Halfway through the year… do you actually know what’s driving your growth?
Most businesses are busy managing their marketing but not clear on what’s actually working.
A Mid-Year Marketing Review helps identify what’s driving results, what’s wasting budget, and where to focus next.

When I started in January, I did all the research myself every article, every trend, every competitor. It took hours and kept me deep in the weeds. 🥵

Later, I learned a smarter way: using AI strategically to support me as a team of one. Not to replace my thinking, but to give back time and mental space so I could focus on growth for my clients.

I get it. Running a small business, it’s easy to get stuck in the weeds yourself. Responding to every email, writing every caption, overthinking every tiny detail. That keeps you from thinking big, spotting patterns, and scaling your business.

Here’s a simple AI list to help you work smarter and gain clarity, even with a small team:
* ChatGPT - Rough drafts for captions, emails, and outlines so you’re never starting from scratch
* Claude - Clean summaries, SOPs, and long documents for clarity and organization
* Gemini - Planning campaigns, content, and operations inside Google tools
* Perplexity → research and insights with sources, turned into actionable steps

I’m still exploring other ways to use AI myself, but even with this stack, you can remove yourself from the weeds, get time back, and focus on growth.

The key rule for early adopters & businesses: AI supports your thinking, it doesn’t replace it. Don’t lose yourself in it. If you find that you’re relying on it. Take some time away. Let it do the first pass, then you add your voice, perspective, and decisions. That’s how you scale smartly, even with a small team.

The power of YES is choosing growth over comfort. I know what that power brought me this year and I learned you don’t have to be ready. Confidence comes after the leap. What are you saying yes to next year? ✨

Showing up on social media is always the part we dread & cringe when we’re just starting out. Whether we’re promoting, launching, or trying to build a community from zero.

I’ve discussed this with clients over and over again. Now, I’m right there too. 😩🙃

I’ve been wrestling with the same questions most brand started have:
✨ How do I actually want to show up?
✨ What feels comfortable and true to me?
✨ How do I stand out without becoming a copy of everyone else?

Here’s the truth:
Not everyone wants to be on camera. Plot twist - Not everyone NEEDS to be. And yes there are successful ways to show up that fit your personality, energy, and brand.

This carousel is your starter guide. Play with the ideas. Try them out. Have fun.

Experiment before your audience arrives so you know what feels natural and what keeps you aligned with your brand.

I’m very data-driven, so I’m also refining how I want to show up in the new year. Consider this your permission to find what works for you not what the algorithm demands.

So tell me… which one are you? 👀💬

Moving Intentionally in 2026
Here’s where I’m focusing next year, who I’m helping and how I’m moving forward.

Without clarity, structure, and a plan that fits your needs right now, it’s hard to move in any direction. That’s where I come in.

I combine 16 years of corporate marketing & advertising with a year of hands-on consulting for small brands and businesses, learning exactly where they need support most. I understand the full marketing ecosystem from strategy, operations, and systems to ex*****on and I scale it down to what actually works for small businesses.

You get someone who already knows best practices and proven frameworks, and can get you moving faster and more affordably.

My core focus is helping brand starters and growing small businesses whether you’re solo or have a small team, who need support to prioritize fast, actionable steps, and know they need marketing foundations but can’t afford high-ticket services.

At the heart of what I do are one-time digital services: audits, roadmaps, and DIY/DFY tools that give you the knowledge, clarity, and steps to move forward.

Only when the foundation is ready do we move into hands-on consulting for deeper strategy and ex*****on.

This year I learned an important lesson: it’s not about launching a bunch of products or services; it’s about perfecting the ones that truly serve your audience.

I spent time reviewing my offerings, seeing what actually helped my clients, and thinking about where my energy and impact mattered most.
The insight? Double down on the services that resonate, build trust, and create real results before trying to do it all.

Here’s the thing: I was giving this advice to clients all year, but I wasn’t doing it for myself.

Coming from corporate, I had a team to manage things. Now solo, I’ve learned the hard way that saying “yes” to everything doesn’t scale. You have to follow your own advice.

For 2026, my focus is clear: refine my core offerings, serve my audience better, and grow intentionally. Which of your offerings deserves more focus this year? Comment below

This year stretched me, healed me, and brought me home to myself. I am so proud of myself and for who I became this year. After leaving corporate in 2023, I took a year off to reset. This year, I said to myself: let whatever wants to arrive… arrive. I felt ready.

And it did. I found myself building alongside small businesses and local founders. People who care deeply about their communities and what they are building - it was inspiring and eye opening at the same time. It’s been beautiful, busy, surprising, and exactly what I needed.

As I close out the year, I always do a personal audit. What still fits? What drains me? What inspires me? Where do I feel called to grow?

Not from a place of pressure but from intention.

We grow as we learn. And every choice, every misstep, every tiny win adds up. The magic is always in the middle of it all.

Here’s the audit I did for myself. If it helps you too, I’d love to know. Share it with someone who needs a little clarity right now

I know many can relate 👋🏼 we all start this journey with good intentions with the right tools. We know who we want to help and how we want to serve… until we realize in doing, that maybe somethings not in true alignment.

After talking with other contractors and entrepreneurs, I realized this is a common shift when moving from corporate to self-employment:we can do a lot, but that doesn’t mean we should.

It’s the same hustle mentality my clients know well. I always tell them:focus on what you do well right now — that’s what actually moves you forward.

And yet, there I was… offering the kitchen sink simply because I could.

Auditing my own business made one thing clear: if I want to stay true to my purpose and really support the clients I care about, I have to show up in a way that helps both of us succeed.
And that requires refinement, not more hustle.

So here I am focusing on what true growth looks like for me.
Sharing the process in real time.
Giving my business the same attention I give my clients something almost every contractor struggles with at first (until we are forced to).

This is my refinement season, and I’m taking you with me. Anyone else starting or refining as well?

I always encourage others to start now, with what they have because someone needs their exact services. Yet I wasn’t following my own advice when it was time to show up for myself.

Posting felt intimidating, especially digitally, in a space full of “experts” and those years ahead of me...even with my corporate experience. The shift from corporate to consulting feels different, in ways I didn’t anticipate.

Then I remembered: someone needs what I offer right now, at their stage and season.

This is who I’m showing up for.
Not everyone else.

✨ Save this as a reminder today: show up where it matters, serve your people, and trust your expertise.
