Today, July 10th, we celebrate the birthday of the mighty Metal God himself, Ronnie James Dio. The man who, along with bringing us countless, timeless songs, is also the man who brought us the horns. 🤘

I went to his grave today at Forest Lawn Cemetary to pay homage to this legend, along with bringing him a gift.

It is well known in the metal scene that Budweiser was Ronnie's beer of choice, and also that every night before he went on-stage, he had 2 beers and half a joint. So to honor this legend, on his birthday, I brought him 2 beers and half a joint.

Ronnie may you Rest In Peace. Your music and legacy lives on forever. Thank you for all the joy your music has brought to my life. @ Forrest Lawn - Hollywood Hills Cemetery.

Thermionic Culture Vulture, an often overlooked mastering tool. I've had this piece for about 15 years now. I still find it to be my preferred "warmer-upper-lifter" when a mix is dull, flat, and lacking transient presence/punch. Just a -touch- of this beast can make such a huge difference. Multiple drive modes, in/out gain variables, so many possibilities you have an incredibly flexible beast on your hands. And don't get me started on stems. Pure Magic.
