Life is not perfect and it’s not always easy. Some days are unbelievably beautiful, while other days will try you to your very core. One thing I’m continuing to learn... EMBRACE IT ALL! EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. Even the moments you think you cannot handle. Those awful times, the ones that break your heart and tear you down. Allow yourself to feel every emotion. Those are the times when you grow and learn the most. If you don’t feel the pain of those moments, you cannot fully heal. The difficult times create the most beauty in the end! 💗

Sometimes you’re just not going to be ok. You’ll cry, be angry, have anxiety and fear... and that is perfectly OK! Everything is temporary.

Other times you’ll feel as though nothing can go wrong and you’ll be on top of the world. Relish in that joy! Remember it, be grateful for it and know that you deserve that bliss. Draw upon those joyous moments when you need them most!
So cherish both the wonderful parts of life and the parts that wreak havoc, for they both come with purpose and lessons.

I don’t believe in the “fake it till you make it” mantra. I believe in being R E A L.

I hate the “highlight reel” and love the REAL “reel.” So to all of you reading this (myself included)... stop trying to be perfect. ✋🏻 Just stop. You weren’t born to have some perfect life, you were born to be you. Stop “faking it” because you’re afraid of what people might see. Stop trying so hard to make your life look perfect, feel perfect, be perfect. IT WILL NEVER BE PERFECT... and that is perfectly ok!

Accept your flaws, they are part of what makes you beautiful. Be you all of the time... the good, the bad & everything in between. Be real! Imperfect is perfect, it says it right there in the word IMperfect. Get it?! 😉😘

Life is going to knock you down, throw you off course and sometimes seriously kick your ass. But you know what? That’s OK! Get up... Dust yourself off...Try again (and again, and again if you have to). You may not succeed at everything you do (at least not the first time), but keep on trying

Never let life keep you down. Keep moving forward, even when it feels impossible. You’re stronger than you think. 💪 And one day, you’ll understand why all of these trials happened. 🤔

I heard this quote recently and I’ve thought about it every day since.

It’s crazy the things we can get used to in this life. More importantly, the bad things we can get used to... and convince ourselves it’s “normal.” Anything from a terrible job, a toxic relationship (including friendships), to unhealthy habits. You name it, we as humans, can get used to it.

I’m here to remind you NOT to settle. Do NOT “get used to” the bad things in life. Break the mold, break the habits, break the toxicity and embrace all of the wonderful things you SHOULD get used to.

You deserve the best of everything! 🌟
