Here's your sign it's time to visit us in Los Olivos. New limited release for club members, the 2024 Pinot Gamay:

"Aged for 24 months on New French Oak barrels with a medium toast, the 2024 Pinot Gamay has more structure & body when compared to prior Gamay wines we've made.

Slightly smokey on the nose, it possesses notes of late harvest berries on the front with a long finish of forest floor. A perfectly balanced wine that can just as easily pair with poultry or complement a freshly caught seafood dish."

Happy plants mean they like their
environment & conditions, and we don't like unhappy plants. That is why we built our conservatory to nurture the plants that we love, but that need a supportive environment here in the Santa Ynez Valley.

While this Pachypodium Lamerei [also known as a Madagascar palm] can survive outside here in Los Olivos, it has taken on new life & personality inside the nurturing protection from the cold & additional humidity that the conservatory offers; so much so that it is now propagating.

It may very well end up being featured in a St. Avalo Quarterly coming to your home soon.
