Truly excited to be taking over the bar and pouring my wines tonight at the La Costa Wine Company in La Costa! Michelle and her staff are awesome, and we'll be pouring a great selection of wines tonight, including our new 2022 Trilogia white blend and our very popular Curiosity 1 red blend.

The tasting is from 5-7 pm, though I'll be there a bit early and will stay later if folks are still there :-)

Setting up for the Toast On The Coast, which benefits the Peninsula Education Foundation.

This truly is ‘coming home’ this is where I went to middle school; this is the district in which my dad taught for nearly two decades; this is the location of where my dad used to teach extension courses for Pepperdine University to all of his peers - and where the idea of his future company was conceptualized . . .

Looking forward to pouring our tercero wines and helping raise funds for these teachers and their students.

Hey folks! I'm part of a fantastic harvest winemaker dinner at the production facility our wines are made at in Buellton! There'll be three winemakers pouring their wines - me, Etienne Terlinden of Cordon and Jason Scrymgeour of Bocce Ball Wines.

This dinner is taking place on Saturday, October 19th - starting at 430pm and lasting until everyone leaves :-)

Food is being prepared by Melissa Scrymgeour of Clean Slate Wine Bar in Solvang, recently named restaurant of the year. Her and her staff are awesome - and I'm sure the food is going to be fantastic.

The three winemakers will start with a tasting of some of our wines and a tour of the production facility and then we'll sit down for a multi-course meal.

All set up to teach my last class of this quarter for the Wine Production course I teach as part of the UC Davis Viticulture and Enology Extension Winemaking Certificate Program.

It’s always an honor teaching this course - and so much fun!

The formal teaching of the science of winemaking is very technical and theoretical - folks like me teach this course to add a bunch of real world sensitivity to it!

I’m looking forward to teaching his class once again this coming in the Winter and then again next Summer!

Hey folks! I'll be pouring at a fun local event this evening called the Fresh Wine Fest, taking place in the back patio area of Pico Restaurant in Los Alamos. And the tasting takes place from 6-8 pm, as things will finally be cooling down a bit.

This tasting focuses on 'fresh' and 'refreshing' wines - perfect for the warmer weather we are experiencing! All wineries are local and will be pouring bright whites and chillable reds.

I will be pouring a selection of whites and a few chillable gems, including our 2019 aberration, a stainless aged blend of grenache and cinsault that I found a few cases of.

Hey Long Beach, CA friends and family - and those close to there as well . . .

I will be doing a 'backyard' winemaker dinner featuring the fantastic food of Chef Louise and her husband Dave Solzman, former owners of Delius Restaurant, a mainstay in Long Beach but sadly no longer there.

They have been offering these dinners in their backyard for a number of years, and I have taken part each and every year that they do! The food is AWESOME and the setting is perfect.

The tercero dinner they are hosting is taking place on Friday, September 20th. There are just a handful of tickets available, so if you're interested. please message me and I will get you more information.
