Hay viajes que se planean.
Y hay lugares que terminan escribiendo su propia historia.
Estancia El Descanso nace en Jarabacoa desde esa idea: un lugar donde el silencio de la montaña y la energía de una región vibrante pueden convivir.
Aquí puedes despertar sin prisa, rodeado de naturaleza, respirando calma.
O salir a explorar lo que esta zona ofrece: ríos, senderos, paisajes y experiencias culinarias que convierten cualquier salida en parte del viaje.
Diseñar esta marca fue entender ese equilibrio.
Un refugio para pausar… en un lugar que también invita a descubrir.
Porque algunos destinos no solo se visitan.
Se convierten en historia.

Estancia El Descanso was created in Jarabacoa from that idea: a place where the quiet of the mountains and the energy of a vibrant region coexist.
Here you can wake up slowly, surrounded by nature and calm.
Or step out to explore everything the area offers — rivers, trails, landscapes, and culinary experiences that become part of the journey.
Designing this brand meant understanding that balance.
A refuge to pause… in a place that also invites discovery.

Developing El Descanso was never just about creating a logo.
It was about building a language.
Every design decision — from typography to color palette, from symbol to spacing — was intentional. The serif choices reflect heritage and permanence. The script elements introduce warmth and intimacy. The balance between structure and softness mirrors the experience itself: grounded, yet emotional.
Typography was not selected to decorate.
It was selected to narrate.
The textures speak of earth and memory.
The symbols suggest refuge and belonging.
The composition allows silence to exist.
