I'm curious as to how your life is going right now. Are you content? Sad? Busy? Feeling empty? Lost? Uncertain? Feeling balanced, stable and optimistic? All of the above? None of the above? Tell me about your life. I'm curious and want to know how you're doing. Thank you.

Greetings Brave Ones! Our current times are certainly unstable and uncertain. Of course, we want to know what's going to happen, however, life has other plans. The KEY to navigating these times is "stabilization." Not very sexy, is it? Today I was thinking about earthquakes and how the ground shifts, bends, shakes, and rolls. Buildings that are constructed to withstand earthquakes have the capacity to roll, bend, and sway to avoid destruction. This is how the buildings' stabilize. We can do that, too! So, hereare my suggestions:
1) Shore up your own foundation first. Like the flight attendants say: Put on your own oxygen mask first before helping anyone else.
Are you 'grounded' in a way that helps you to stabilize your emotional, physical and mental life? Cooking, cleaning, simplifying your daily life are ways to ground.
2) Speaking from personal experience, I'd be crazy as a loon if I didn't practice sitting meditation every day. It's a way to directly connect to earth energy. Besides that, it gives you mental clarity.
3) Stop watching news on TV, or at least cut back. I find it's better to read the news online, and bypass the greater emotional impact of watching it on TV.
4) Make your life as meaningful as possible. HINT: Help others who are less fortunate and vulnerable. You'll find joy there.
5) We on Earth are experiencing the end of a 120-year cycle so, yes, there will be uncertainty, anxiety, and unrest. Stabilize yourself as much as you can. Change what you need to change in order to do that.
6) In your natal chart, in what house is the sign Aquarius located? This will tell you where to put your efforts and the gifts you can offer to the collective.
7) VOTE! Your vote has power!

MARS TURNING RETROGRADE IN ONE WEEK:
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
From the earth's point of view, a planet turning retrograde means that it appears to be moving backwards, but it's not actually. Next Wednesday, 9/9, Mars will 'station,' i.e. appear to stop before moving backwards. It will be in the later degrees of Aries, the sign Mars rules, so be observant about highly charged, intense, and strong assertive energy. Friction, temper and impulsivenes! Also, no need to take things personally! Want to know more? I'm offering 25% off of a 45-minute natal reading with specific information about this retrograde Mars for you and the upcoming Mars squares to Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter in the second half of 2020! Messasge me!

What does the Well of Simplicity have to do with Astrology? Astrology gathers the information and guidance that your birth chart reveals and allows you to create ways to utilize your strengths in ways you haven't yet realized. These strengths give you ready access to The Well which nourishes your sense of well-being and goodness, no matter what happens. Occasionally, I consult the I Ching or Book of Changes (Wilhelm & Baynes) for information and guidance. I'm particularly interested in Hexagram 48 - The Well. In ancient cities, the Well was a central location where citizens came together to collect their water. The Well represents the inexhaustible "wellspring of the divine" in the inherent nature of human beings. It slakes the thirst caused by disconnection from oneself and others. That 'wellspring of the divine' is also present in our solar system's planetary energies, including the Earth. This wellspring is fresh, clear, and always available. This wellspring, the planets, the Earth and ourselves are all of one fabric. Tapping into this fabric is a roadmap for navigating these difficult times. Here is a place to find relief from fear, anxiety and the uncertainties of these times.
