We are proud to kick off our Employee Spotlight series with someone who sets the standard for what we do every day. Meet Deveda Parker, our Case Management Supervisor at Freedom.

Deveda leads our rockstar team of case managers who coordinate services, navigate the system on behalf of families, and make sure attendant care participants are served are heard. It is demanding work, and Deveda does it with a level of ownership that is hard to teach.

She is also growing her team. Deveda is hiring a Case Management Specialist and is looking for an with at least two years of experience. If you want to advocate for participants and their families inside a team that treats each other like family, this is the seat.

This morning, our team was proud to support the Mayor's Derby Brunch on the River as a Silver Sponsor. Riverside, The Farnsley-Moremen Landing produces the brunch each year to kick off Derby Week, with proceeds supporting the historic property's mission.

Riverside has stood on the Ohio River since 1837. Its work preserving Louisville's story and connecting the community to it lines up with what Freedom Senior Services does every day. We help older adults stay connected to their homes, their families, and the neighborhoods that made them who they are.
Derby Week belongs to Louisville. It belongs to families who have been here for generations and to families who arrived last year. Our team reflects both, and we were honored to be part of how the week opens.
