A few pens for an event this weekend. These wood pens are made of (top to bottom) Angel's Envy stave, black walnut, Angel's Envy, Crabapple, Angel's Envy, and American Holly.

Years ago when I was an arborist I worked on a black walnut tree here in Louisville. I took some of the wood home, chopped it into blanks and dried it for years. Eventually a piece of that wood became this pen. I have other species I laid up at the same time and will be making pens from. It will be my Home Roots collection.
