It's always cool to help local Louisville companies build brand-new websites. Atlas Windows installed new windows on our house a few years back (which are awesome), and now things have come full circle. We just finished a major overhaul to their website that launched this week.

We added a brand new back-end built from the ground up, all new photos, modern tech to run all of the content, several performance optimization features, and utilized many more modern website-building techniques to revamp their online brand and user experience.

If you've ever lost a pet, you know the pain that comes with it. We recently had the opportunity to build a brand new website for Bannon Bridge, a pet cremation company that offers a more gentle way to memorialize pets through a process called aquamation, which uses water instead of fire for pet cremation. This process preserves more of the pet remains and is more environmentally friendly.

In what will likely be the last LWN project of 2023, I am excited to show you what I've been working on recently. It is quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever been a part of.

Gil and Linda Hibben of Hibben Knives are legends in the business and art of knifemaking. They have been making knives for over 60 years. Their knives have been featured in countless movies and TV shows, including the Rambo franchise, Star Trek (if you didn't know, I am a huge Trekkie), The Expendables, and more.

After their previous site had been abandoned by its webmaster (which unfortunately happens all too often), they contacted me to help them recover all of their photo history and build a website to display their work and sell their products online.

The result is the newest version of hibbenknives.com, linked in the comments.

If you or anyone you know is looking to build a small business website in 2024, I'll be taking on a few new projects starting in mid-January of next year.

Things are busy right now, in a good way. We've currently got three website projects in motion and we're working through upgrading everyone to WordPress 6.2, and all of the software updates that come with it.

For now, we're holding off on any new website builds until likely a bit after Derby (if you know, you know), so we can focus on these projects and supporting our loyal clients. We'll update this page and our contact page on the website when we're accepting new projects again.

That said, if you're in the market for website help later this spring or summer, start getting your ducks in a row now, because pretty soon...

I’ve always wondered about the sports trading card industry. A recent client experience taught me a lot. Some cards are worthless. Some can be worth 6 and even 7 figures, and can be found right here in Louisville.

J&J Allstar Sportscards Shows needed an update to their site to get their current show information displayed online and to get up to date with recent technology trends, such as mobile design and performance.

They’re now setup with a brand new Wordpress website that’s already getting a ton of great traffic. This was a cool one to work on.

I am currently accepting new clients, especially small businesses with long-term website support and maintenance needs.
