We have always been a place for people from different walks of life, different industries, different backgrounds and different points of view.

Painters whose work hangs on our walls. Photographers who have captured this community. Musicians who have filled these rooms with beautiful energy. Founders building what comes next. Artists, freelancers, technologists, dreamers, skeptics and builders.

People who might never have met otherwise. And who definitely don’t agree on everything.

Because there’s something powerful about what happens when people who wouldn’t normally find themselves in the same room, do.

We want to be a place where people feel safe enough to say, “I see this differently.”

And curious enough to ask, “Tell me why.”

You can ask hard questions. You can change your mind (or not). You can still stay.

There’s space here for all of it.

Ryan Fabela’s hill: AI will make us more human.

And before you come for him, hear him out.

Ryan is a Marketing Director and startup growth specialist who gets genuinely excited about finding smarter ways for businesses to work. He’s especially interested in AI, better systems, and those “why are we still doing it this way?” problems begging for a better answer.

For Ryan, the promise of AI isn’t doing more work. It’s giving us more room to actually enjoy the lives we’re supposed to have.

That idea is showing up in his work, too. He’s currently creating a phone detox retreat designed to help people step away from the noise and reconnect with themselves.

His favorite thing about Story? 24-hour access, the team, and, in his words, “amazing customer service" (thanks Ryan!).

You can care about people without protecting them from the consequences of their choices.

“You can’t deny somebody’s karma” gave Natalia permission to stop carrying other people’s discomfort when accountability was necessary—a lesson that has shaped how she leads in business and beyond.

Before you name it, brand it, and spend three hours choosing between two nearly identical shades of green, ask:

1. Whose problem does this solve?
2. How are they solving it right now?
3. What would make them switch to what you're offering?
4. Will they pay for the solution?
5. What is the smallest version you could test this month?

The fastest way to learn whether an idea has legs is to get it in front of real people.

That proximity to new perspectives is part of what makes Story Louisville’s most vibrant coworking community for people who work too hard to work alone.
