Do lean into your connection strengths by starting off a feedback conversation with something like, “ I’m bringing this up with you because I care about your and your success here.”

Don’t try to avoid softening the feedback too much that it becomes unclear and doesn’t actually help the person.

While leading worships is my favorite thing to do inside Enneagram MBA, not every day is spent in front of a room talking about Enneagram. Most days are spent doing all the other things that make a workshop possible.

Don’t bury the lead. Get to the point and let them ask for the backstory if they want it.

Give them time and space to process big asks rather than expecting an immediate answer. In most cases with 5s, “let me know about it,” doesn’t mean no. It really means they want to think about it.
