Big news for Louisville: GE Appliances and IUE-CWA just announced new investment at Appliance Park, bringing their combined commitment – including last year's $490 million to shift washer and washer/dryer combo production here from China – to $1 billion. Together, it will secure 4,700 production jobs right here at home.

The investment brings dryer production back from Mexico, expands laundry product manufacturing, and will make Appliance Park America's largest home appliance manufacturing site, all while reinforcing GE Appliances' long-term commitment to building right here in Louisville.

That's one of our region's most iconic employers investing in its future, thousands of families' futures, and the future of our city.
