Today, personnel from Engine 65, Engine 71, Med Battalion 71, and Fire Battalion 71, visited Craig and his parents to pay their respects and honor the lasting legacy of our fallen brother.
Today, we remember and honor the life of Sgt. Craig Edward Drury.
It has now been 32 years since Craig tragically lost his life from injuries sustained while courageously responding to a residential arson fire. At just 24 years old, Craig was more than a firefighter. He was a devoted friend, a beloved family member, and a dedicated volunteer who served his community with courage, compassion, and purpose.
Although the arson that claimed Craig’s life remains unsolved, his memory continues to live on through the people who knew and loved him. His bravery, sacrifice, and dedication to serving others will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, Brother.�You are forever remembered, deeply missed, and always loved. ❤️🚒

🎓🚒 Congratulations to Recruit Classes 26-03 & 26-04! 🚑🎓

We’re proud to announce the graduation of 15 recruits — 11 Fire and 4 EMS — who are now ready to begin their careers as first responders!

Throughout their training, these recruits demonstrated tremendous hard work, dedication, and determination. This milestone represents countless hours of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and preparation for the responsibility of serving our community.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our guest speakers and representatives who joined us for this special occasion, including Representative Chris Lewis, Councilwoman Ginny Mulvey-Woolridge, Councilman Jeff Hudson and Ron Heady. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to celebrate this important milestone and show your support for our newest members and the fire and EMS service.

Congratulations, Recruit Classes 26-03 and 26-04!

On Friday, we proudly celebrated the graduation of Recruit Classes 26-03 and 26-04 and welcomed 15 new members into our department.

Their graduation represents countless hours of training, hard work, perseverance, and commitment to serving others. Each of these new members has risen to the challenge, and we could not be more proud of everything they have accomplished.
