The Brooklyn Fire Protection District is a volunteer-based department proudly serving the Village of Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

We provide fire suppression, and fire prevention education to our community.Our firefighters are trained and committed.

big thank you to Mitchell Fire Department for hosting the IFSI iPump class.

It’s always great to get together with other firefighters, sharpen our skills, and continue learning from experienced instructors. Training like this helps us stay prepared and better serve our communities.

Chief Dixon wanted this logo to represent more than just the Brooklyn Fire Protection District he wanted it to tell our story.

The bold letters stand for BFPD, while the center design creatively brings the P and F together. Hidden within the larger letter is a smaller “F,” representing family.

Because at the Brooklyn Fire Protection District, we don’t just serve together we train together, protect our community together and stand together as one family.

The Brooklyn Fire Protection District extends our deepest condolences to the Davis and Fridge families on the passing of our former member, Derrion “Dee Belly” Davis.

Derrion faithfully served our department for four years. We are grateful for his service, dedication, and the memories he shared with our fire department family. He will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Derrion. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. 🕊️
