This 16-hour blended training helps professionals in criminal justice settings build practical Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills they can use right away in supervision, case management, and everyday interactions. From intake conversations to ongoing support, MI helps staff engage more effectively.

The course combines self-paced learning with virtual instructor-led practice sessions focused on real-world application. Participants work through guided exercises, role plays, and skill-building activities, with individualized feedback to help refine their approach.

This 24-hour, live, instructor-led program meets the requirements to become an end user of Pathways to Change and equips practitioners to use their at-desk time with purpose and structure.

Pathways to Change is a research-based casework intervention guide built to address needs commonly identified on risk assessments. Participants receive practical tools they can use immediately, including:
