🌟 Preparedness Training Opportunity with Office for the Aging 🌟

The New York State Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES), in partnership with the Lewis County Office for the Aging, is offering a free Citizen Preparedness Training to help residents learn how to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

Tonight Constableville Fire hosted the HAZMAT Refresher with 25 Fire and EMS responders from Constableville, Boonville, West Leyden, Martinsburg, and 3-G.

Very good refresher class from OFPC instructor David Dye.

Thank you to all the volunteers who attended this training. Giving selflessly of your time to help keep your community and your fellow first responders safe during these challenging incidents.

Scholarship Opportunity for Lewis, Jefferson and St. Lawrence County providers

Advance Your EMS Career with a Paramedic Scholarship!

The FDRHPO EMS Program Agency is now accepting applications for its Paramedic Scholarship Program, offering $10,000 per recipient to support EMS providers pursuing paramedic training.

**This also applies to students who are currently enrolled**

Four scholarships will be awarded:
• Two for providers in the North Country Region (Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties)
• Two for providers in the Mountain Lakes Region (Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Warren, and Washington counties)
