Cantonement scrap pile.

Finished up the Cantonement, FL job yesterday. Nearly 11,000 board foot.

Portable milling in late August is pretty tough.

Looking forward to getting the LT50 back home and milling under the pole barn.

Finished up day 3. We have about 20-25 logs to mill into 1xs and 2x6s, about sixteen 20’ beams (6x8 and 6x10) to mill and then run all our flitches through the edger.

Still hot.

Started a 3-4 portable job today. 16’ to 20’ logs.

Yes, it was hot.

We already had a pretty good pile of logs but we (mostly Hunter) hauled over 125 old growth long leaf pine off a land clearing job on Wolf Bay.

We start a three day portable job on Monday. Wish us luck in this heat.

We mill pine 95% of the time, so it’s always nice when someone orders something different. I originally said oak, but this actually Sweetgum. Pretty stuff.
