Market report 5-21 (Loyal)

Another very nice offering of over 200 dairy cattle and a large buying crowd on hand!
Top end cows sold 3500-4300.
Good cows sold 2500-3200.
Light or blemished cows 2400 and down.

Heifers not well tested. Common springers 2800-3500. 3 Milking Shorthorn springers 3200 each. Buelingo cross springers 2900-2950.

Complete herd dispersal. (90) Holstein & Swiss x Holstein cross cows including 65 milking and 25 dry cows! Herd is on DHI, vaccinated spring & fall, AI bred to Holstein or Angus. Cows are out on pasture everyday and fed corn silage, haylage, and top dressed a grain mix in the barn. Current bulk tank average is 80 lbs milk, 3.8F, 3.2P, 87 scc.
