Since 1913, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce's mission of strengthening, promoting and serving its member businesses has positively benefited the entire region and, most importantly, our quality of life. As the largest business federation on the South Plains, the Chamber represents almost 1600 members who employ approximately 60,000 workers and account for about $900 million in economic impact in L

ubbock and West Texas. Serving as a unified voice, the Chamber advocates for pro-business issues affecting Lubbock businesses on the local, state and national levels. Its efforts earned it the distinguished 5-Star Accreditation from the United States Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce Executives’ 2008 Chamber of the Year and the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives’ Governmental Affairs Program of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Join us this Friday at 10:00am for our monthly Advocacy Committee meeting as we welcome John Turpin, City Engineer for the City of Lubbock.

John will provide an update on the progress of the City’s Road Bond projects and discuss the upcoming Broadway reconstruction project, including what businesses, residents, and commuters can expect as construction gets underway.

These infrastructure improvements will have a significant impact on transportation, accessibility, and economic development throughout our community, making this an important conversation for business leaders and community stakeholders alike.

The Lubbock Parade of Homes highlights more than beautiful new construction. It reflects a strong and growing West Texas economy, continued local investment, and the builders and industry professionals helping shape the future of our community. 🏡

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Elle recently made the move to Lubbock after spending the last several years in Tennessee. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Media & Communication.

When she is not creating content or behind the camera, you can find her spending time with her husband, horses, and dogs!
