When was the last time you were able to eat a slice of pizza GUILT FREE WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED?? I’m talking zero justification as to why you “deserve” it or how you’re reasoning in your head why you’re eating it. When is the last time you just sat down in front of a dang pizza and said “this looks good, I think I’ll have a slice” and that was it? No shame, no guilt, no calorie or carb counting, no binge, just pizza. ⠀
⠀
“Oh but I could never....” I know that’s what 90% of you just said to yourselves. And if you just spoke those words, you’re who I’m talking to, so keep reading. ⠀
⠀
You say you want freedom from the chains food has on you, but do you really know what it means to get there? Do you really understand that’s it has ZERO to do with willpower? Zero. So stop it because you deserve better. You deserve better than to be told you don’t really know what you want. ⠀
⠀
You can experience freedom from guilt surrounding food. You absolutely can. And it starts with breaking down the notion that food is either good or bad. Food is food. ⠀
⠀
“But everywhere I turn someone is telling me this is what I should do, eat this, don’t eat that.” I know girl, trust me I know. And it’s so overwhelming. But you have to stop the noise and start listening to your body.⠀
⠀
I currently have clients in my program who have stopped their binging behavior completely. They are enjoying their food again, they are naturally making healthier choices because they know how food makes them feel now, and they aren’t spending hours planning their next binge because they aren’t restricting food! And most importantly, they are learning to love themselves.⠀
⠀
When you change your relationship with food, you also change your relationship with yourself. It is the basis for success in all other areas of your life. Get this right, and everything else will follow.
