Success Story
Brickhouse54
(806) 777-6195
1200 Avenue A, Petersburg TX, 79250

Brickhouse54 has been serving the auto parts and farming industry for 5 years. Founded by a team of experienced business partners in 1979. In May 2022, Krystal Prater and her husband proudly took over the family business following her parents’ retirement, keeping the tradition alive while introducing and bringing in new ideas. She has known that she wanted to be an entrepreneur forever and with the combo with her husband helping come up with ideas. Krystal and her husband have pushed Brickhouse54 to what we know today and has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of auto parts in the region.

What truly sets Brickhouse54 apart is its heart for the community. Krystal loves connecting with local farmers and neighbors, creating an environment where customers are treated like family. The commitment goes beyond the store with partnering with their local school to help support student fundraisers and to give back to the community that is supporting them.

Brickhouse54 offers more than just auto parts. Customers can find everything from brakes, starters, and engine components to household items, pet food, tools, and plumbing supplies. With a unique twist, they even serve pizza creating a space where people can walk in, grab a bite, and take care of what they need without having to worry about driving out to Lubbock.

Krystal has used and continues to use the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to help support and grow their business. When asked about what the best tip for others who are starting a business or are in business, she said, “Don’t give up, keep trying, when one doesn’t work try a different way. Get help call Ray, use the SBDC.”
