The benefits of an accident indemnity policy. or How one little mistake can ruin your whole day!
Recently I screwed up. While sitting down on a chair, I fell over backwards and landed on the cement on my shoulder. I knew something was terribly wrong as I couldn't get up and the pain was extreme. Bottom line: No broken bones but a total separation of my rotator cuff and dislocation and rip of my bicep. Fortunately my Medicare Incurance will cover most of the cost, but here is the rest of the story. I skipped the ER and went to the Orthopedic Surgeon on the following Monday. Remember that the Accident Indemnity Policy PAYS YOU DIRECTLY In Addition to normal insurance. Some of the benefits will include:
X ray, MRI, Dr. Visits, PT, and more. This will lessen the pain quite a bit as well as covering some cost of me not being able to work. Think About It! You don't have to be old and/or clutzy to take advantage of this. Give me a call. Thanks.

WHEN YOUR PARTNER ISN'T OLD ENOUGH FOR MEDICARE.....
So you reached the retirement age but your partner has not, and you make too much money to apply for ACA. NOT TO WORRY, CMS has changed the rules and your partmer can sign up for up to three years of Short Term Medical Insurance with an extension if needed. What to look for in Insurance Plans
First of all, the basic premis is the younger you are, the lower the premium. If it is Life Insurance, do you want to build money in the account, then Whole Life is the direction to go. If you want protection for a finate length of time, go with Term coverage. By paying a little more some policies will return your premiums paid at the end of your term.
I love Indemnity Insurance because you can pick and choose what coverage you want and how much as well as STACK policies to increase your benefits. Some also offer return of premium as well. Very few age or preexisting conditions are attached to these policies and they usually have affordable premiums.

So what is the benefit of Indemnity Insurance Plans? How does "Paying you directly" put more money in your pocket? As an example, you have insurance with ABC Health Insurance Company and you trip and fall and have to go to the ER. ABC Health Insurance Company will probably pay the bill to the Hospital Emergency Room for your visit. You'll have little or nothing out of pocket. You turn the Hospital Bill into the Health Indemnity Company and they pay you directly, lets say $1300 or so to cover being seen and x-rays. You're off work for three weeks with no pay.
